Our Mission
Meticulous career planning initiated at postgraduate level and continues with researchers and alumni. `Career Service' organizes activities and programs with the highlight being on high-values and main focus on career. The objective is to bring management recruiters and job seekers together.
Our key objectives :
A resource center of career information for students at all levels of education, be it under graduates, post graduates, researchers and alumni. As a mediator between performing students and organizations with right kind of opportunities. Maintain a rapport with alumni, who can be mentors and a source of inspiration for budding students. Create an awareness about `Career Services' in the corporate houses. Encompass an ambience with the right kind of study plan, streamline procedures in place, in addition to a full functioning department to inspire and provide placement back up.

Free information is available on the official website. But registration to the placement cell is restricted to the students enrolled in the post graduate programmes at ABS. In case of any queries or feedback, please contact placement cell in ABS.
Employability statement
Developing your employable skills in all aspects from ABS ABS has the right type of academic backdrop which moulds students into intellectual professionals, to suit the job market. The institute hones the skills of students and makes them competitive. Under the able guidance of expert researchers, the students are exposed to practical and project work. The right values of leadership qualities are instilled in students to such a great level that it is distinct when they take an initiative to lead in training camps, clubs and societies.
Career Services
Prior to recruitment, the institute conducts mock interviews and workshops on CV and interview skills besides showing presentations of 500 employers. It even conducts on campus and out of campus interviews in ABS. Learning programs like student consultancy and internship are part of the curriculum to provide first hand experience as well as employment skills like adaptability to work in different organizations like corporates, MNC’s , media and production houses etc. A student is privileged to have a personal interaction with the career advisory to choose his options. The institute has demarcated specific career development programs for the post graduate students. The `Career Service' supports alumni for life. Ardent support is given
by the institute to students from diverse background and their chances of employment is higher after the requisite training given to exceed to the demands of the market.
How to use the Careers Service
In case, a student is on the lookout for a new opening or specific opportunities or needs to be trained in certain skills, then Career Service is the right choice. Armed with requisite resources and expertise, it unravels different options in varied fields. One’s career
can range from academics to media to development or research, to name a few. One can access more information from a personal visit to the institute. Latest updates on job offers, career events, electronic resources, networking opportunities are available. Students can seek the help of the career counselor who can help the student based on his/her own interests and options. Details on job and industry are made available to students. A lengthy program encompassing varied aspects of education like career fairs, presentation by employers and workshops on writing CVs, applications, covering letters, interview techniques, seminars, workshops, events are regularly held. To provide a global platform for students and showcase their talent, regular film festivals and events are inculcated into the curriculum. Some of the events include `Global Film Festival',
`International Film Festival of Cell Phone Cinema’, Marketing seminars, HR Conclave.
For Faculty:
`Career Services' would love to collaborate with the faculty on projects and programs. Ideas can vary from classroom presentation, classroom assignments with a professional development theme, community service/service learning collaboration and internship/job shadows.

Employers are encouraged to visit ABS campus to get to know our students. Opportunities are available to employers that includes posting jobs and internships. Other opportunities available to employers are scheduling campus interviews, information sessions and `company day on campus' and give guest lectures to students.On and off campus interviews are a fabulous opportunity for students and employers to connect.
For Alumni :
ABS wants to remain united with its alumni and collaborate possible programs that can benefit them as well as the resent students. Alumni/Alumnae are a significant link in providing the present ABS students with professional development opportunities. Internships, job shadows, informational interviews and summer jobs are all excellent ways for alumni/alumnae to help launch the next generation of ABS.
